M.S.C. AWARDS NIGHT – FEBRUARY 26, 2012

Congratulations to the M.S.C. CHAMPIONS and their Motocross Families.
A big “THANK YOU” to the M.S.C. Tracks and their support team.
To our Registrar/PointsKeeper, Amy Rutledge, a job well done! Results were posted on the M.S.C. WEB SITE and at the tracks promptly. Cards were mailed out or available at the tracks each week. She attended every race (Saturday & Sunday). Championship Points have been posted early. In addition, Amy is busy with her many family obligations. We thank her for her diligent and sincere attention to our M.S.C.
Our M.S.C. AWARDS NIGHT will be Sunday, February 26, 2012 at a new facility….the Hudson Valley Resort & Spa in Kerhonksen, NY www.hudsonvalleyresort.com
The Bike Raffle will offer two motorcycles: A KX 250F, purchased from Matt’s Cycle Center, and a YZ 125 2 stk. purchased from Dutchess Recreational Vehicles. Hundreds of Door Prizes. 1-10 Trophies for each class. Jackets for 1st. Place Winners. Hoodies for the Youth Class 1st. Place Winners. 2nd. Place – 10th Place Winners – sweatshirts. #1 Plates for “A” EXPERT Classes (donated by Hunter Motorcycle). Complimentary Dinner for the 1st. Place Class Winners.
Tickets for the Bikes and other Raffle Prizes may be purchased at our dinner. Make your Dinner Reservations early. Call Amy at 1-845-657-7259. Our Dinner Flyer, Directions, and Menu is included with this post.

We thank everyone who came out to support the sport at Ace Motocross past Sunday. Rain did try to dampen our spirit, but racing continued.
Recent posts on a Message Board have compelled an answer……..We thank everyone for their concern and assistance as we work towards an answer to the crisis we face. We all come together at our events and work for the continuation and enjoyment of our sport. We will proceed with our posted MSC SCHEDULE from last Fall (Business as usual). We have made alternate plans (Plan B) if the answers to our issues are not favorable. We bear no one any ill will, and we ask to be treated with respect and consideration. “Where’s the problem?” Suffice it to say…………..We (THE MSC) are working together, holding our own, and at 53 years of age have weathered many storms through the years. We will pursue and survive this latest bump in the road. We will post any news, and look forward to a resolution to our issues. So, support your MSC TRACKS. We offer to you a great racing program. Ignore those discordant notes! MOTOCROSS A FAMILY SPORT!!!!!

2010 M.S.C. SCHEDULE

At our recent MSC Meeting, it was discussed that there is an unusual situation of borrowing bikes this year………The big problem is this–Championship Points are awarded when the contestant’s machine displays the rider’s current MSC number. We have been most understanding. Riders have listed their MSC numbers on their data card. But the bike is a different number.
Beginning this week at South Woods, the grace period is over. Riders must display on their bike their correct MSC Numbers. You can even use a paper plate taped on your borrowed bike. Whatever works for you. But display your MSC number on the borrowed bike so you will be scored using your MSC number and receive your MSC POINTS. Spread the word!

NEWS FLASH – 125 2 STROKE CLASS

All MSC TRACKS have agreed that the 125cc 2 stroke Class will be strictly for the 125cc 2 stroke bikes. No other bikes allowed in the class, (such as 100cc). Sorry for any inconvenience. This class was offered for the 125cc 2 stroke bikes. It is a trophy class, and is not an MSC Point Class.

HONDA CONTINGENCY from the rain out race on June 21st has been rescheduled for July 26th at Ace. Please spread the word to your friends.
South Woods Sportsmen – September 20th. As previously mentioned, the printer left out the South Woods date of September 20th. Later schedules that were mailed out included the South Woods date, but early schedules did not include the 20th for South Woods. Our web schedule has always had the date listed. So, please make this change if you have not done so……….
Directions–Directions–Please visit the MSC track web site for directions, location and GPS Coordinates. The contact person listed on your Schedule Card and the MSC INFO on our web site does not live at the track. The track location & directions are available at each track’s web site. Thank You, Thank You.
OUR MSC GALA AWARDS NIGHT FOR 2009 WILL BE: SUNDAY, JANUARY 31, 2010 AT ANTHONY’S PIER 9, NEW WINDSOR, NEW YORK. Make a note on your calendar. Be there!!
