He's happy with his giant gold! She's happy with her giant gold!
These two happy riders from the same class start off the awards night.

Our announcer (and "Pied Piper" for the night) was Randy Simpson.

Mr. Brew's "raffle winner picking machine"
By the way, 150 raffle prizes were given out and Many were donated.

Mike Leavitt donated a free "rider lesson" at his motocross school that was raffled off.
NEWS:  Mike has been back riding for a month already and said his lap times are within 1 second of his peak last season already, so he is really anxious to join us in the spring. Be sure to check out Mike's web site (www.leavittracing.com) and his "whip instructional" at ACE motocross where he was good enough to donate his time and expertise to us this past summer.

Jodi Whitsell donated one of her art works to our raffle.  Be sure to visit Jodi's website at www.bigdawgzsquared.com.

The evening's organizers, and owners of Claverack Motocross, Mr. and Mrs. Brew, take a break from the busy night.

The lovely Jeannine Price, our District 34 points keeper, was doing signups ALL NIGHT (way, way in the back of the banquet hall too).  Jeannine, you work much too hard for all of us.

Your friends from the Ace motocross club!
Your friends from South Woods club!
Your friends from Walden club!

Hey Matt Moore!,  everyone was surprised to see this great poster of your dad (#22) showing Fritz (#605), Hall (#50) and McMillen (#972) how to holeshot back in 1983.    (so I took a picture of the picture so everyone can see it now).

You know, there seemed like a million people were at this banquet.  I think like 770 is the total.   So I figured I'd walk to the very back to see who was there (it was a long walk).  Came upon this table (and didn't know a person at it) but they were all so happy and they gave me a great picture.   So I figured I'd move them to the "front row" with a few clicks on my keyboard.   And so here they are now with the "best seat in the house".

Athena Stefanou, with her IDENTICAL twin sister (on her right in photo). Athena took 2nd place in the Women's class.
