Here are the points from Claverack 5/18/14. This was a Double Point race, as well as the first race that background colors were checked. Most of you received your points. If you did not receive your points this week, you may want to check the rulebook to make sure you have the right color background. It is also important to use your MSC assigned number.
I want to mention again that a simple fix for not having the correct color is to use duck tape ($5 @Walmart) around the edges of the plates to at least show you are attempting to follow our rules. We know that some Mini riders run other districts and need the white plates – this is the easiest way to fix your problem.
Next week at Echo Valley will be another Double Point race, so be prepared!
5/16/14 : It has been mentioned to me that someone is posting on Facebook that the colors don’t count this weekend. THIS IS A FALSE RUMOR!
BACKGROUND COLOR CHECK BEGINS AT CLAVERACK MAY 18TH – wrong color backgrounds = no Championship points

Here are the points from the 5/11 race at Echo Valley. The next race is at Claverack and will be our first Double Points event. This is the race when I will begin checking everyone’s background colors. If you do not have the proper color backgrounds – your points will not count towards the Championship. (The only exception will be new members on race day)
The proper colors are as follows:
Pee Wee 50cc – White plates/Black numbers
65cc – 85cc classes – Yellow plates/Black numbers
Novice – Black plates/White Numbers
Amateur – Yellow plates/Black numbers
Expert – White plates/Black numbers
Women/Girls – Red plates/ White or black numbers – Blue is accepted for the “Pro card” holders
Your MSC assigned number must be used on all 3 sides of your bike – we need this to be able to Score you easier! If you have to borrow a bike on race day, use a paper plate to get your number on there for the day. This is nothing new, so be ready!
Here are the points from Twister. As you will see, many classes did not get points due to not enough riders in the class. (You must have 5 riders signed up in order to receive points) I have not yet posted the Girls class. I will do so at a later time once something is clarified.
The next race is at Echo on Mother’s day May 11th. This will be the last race that you can get away with not having the proper background colors. On May 18th I will begin checking color backgrounds and you will not receive points if you are not using the correct ones.
Pee Wee 50cc – White plates with black numbers
65cc/Junior Mini/Mid Mini/Senior Mini/Open Mini – Yellow plates with black numbers
Women/Girls – Red plates with either white or black numbers (Blue is accepted for those holding Pro cards)
Novice – Black plates with white numbers
Amateur – Yellow plates with black numbers
Expert – White plates with black numbers
